STATEMENT

Dear citizens!
Taking into account the fact that those in charge of the healthcare sector have given clear instructions and recommendations for protecting health, among which are avoiding crowded places, to prevent the spread of coronavirus the Police, in its turn, asks and advises:
1. to visit the Passport and Visa Department and the PVD divisions alone, without unauthorized persons to perform any actions related to passports. Sometimes, due to ignorance of the legislative norms, parents take their minor children with them for applying for a passport for children under 16 years of age, their inclusion in the state register of the population, receipt of a social card for them, etc., while there is no need for it. Any action associated with a passport for children under 16 years of age is performed without his/her mandatory presence. Therefore, Police urges not to take your children with you when visiting passport services.
2. to visit the administrative building of the Passport and Visa Department, as well as the buildings of other divisions of the PVD only in case of emergency.
3. We would also like to inform you that in addition to obtaining passports and applying for citizenship of RA, all other actions can also be performed through an authorized person. Therefore, a person, who applies to the PVD for himself, can also apply for his family members, his relatives, as well as for other people, producing a simple written power of attorney.
