A 43-year-old man was wanted for evading punishment․ he has been transferred to a correctional facility
As a result of operational and intelligence measures undertaken by the officers of the Community Police at the Tumanyan Division, on July 17, a 43-year-old man from Arevatsag village was located in the outskirts of Shnog village and taken to the police station. He was wanted on charges under article 242, part 2 of the former Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (Breach of traffic rules and operation of means of transportation which negligently caused human death), evading punishment. Arrest has been selected as a measure of restraint.
The 43-year-old man has been transferred to a correctional facility.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
