Wanted person by Ukrainian law enforcement was located at Zvartnots Airport
As a result of operational and intelligence measures undertaken by the officers Community Police of the Zvartnots Airport a 59-year-old foreign citizen was detained and taken to the Division on June 28 at the airport.
Since May 30, he had been wanted by the law enforcement authorities of the Republic of Ukraine on charges of unlawfully taking possession of another person’s property. Arrest was selected as a measure of restraint. Information about the discovery of the wanted person has been reported to the Interpol NCB in RA and the Prosecutor’s Office.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
