As a result of operational and intelligence measures undertaken by the officers of the Community Police at Zvartnots Airport, a 35-year-old foreign man was arrested. He had been wanted by the law enforcement authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan since May 1, 2024, on charges of illegal importation of counterfeit or expired medicines. Arrest was selected as a measure of restraint.
Information about the discovery of the wanted person has been reported to the authority that initiated the search and to the Prosecutor’s Office․
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
