“Zvartnots” airport Police detain foreigner on the wanted list in Cyprus

As a result of the operational-search measures carried out by the employees of the Criminal Investigation unit of "Zvartnots" airport Police Line division, Tehran-Yerevan flight passenger, 40-year-old Akbar K. was taken to the Police Line division on Friday, October 8. The foreigner had been wanted by the NCB of Interpol in the Republic of Cyprus on charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit a serious crime since April 10, 2013.
Custody has been selected as a measure of restraint.
The Interpol NCB in Armenia and the Prosecutor's office have been notified of Akbar K.’s detection.
