The person was wanted by Georgian law enforcement authorities on charges of fraud and money laundering
As a result of operational-search measures carried out by the officers of the Community Police 'Zvartnots' Airport Division, a 44-year-old foreign national, who had been wanted by Interpol Georgia since May 2024 on charges of fraud and money laundering, was brought to the division after check-in for the Yerevan–Sochi flight. Arrest was selected as the measure of restraint.
The Armenian Interpol National Central Bureau was notified of his apprehension.
