“Zvartnots” airport police officers detect wanted US citizen

As a result of the operational-search activities carried out by the officers of the “Zvartnots” airport Line division of the RA Police, on September 6, US citizen Aram A. was taken to the Police Line division after arriving from Moscow in Yerevan. The man had been wanted on charges under Articles 266 (Illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances for the purpose of their sale) and 267.1 of the RA Criminal Code (Smuggling of narcotic drugs (psychotropic substances) and (or) their precursors) since July 23.
Recognizance not to leave has been selected as a measure of restraint
