Delegation led by the RA Chief of Police visits Georgia

From December 8 to 10, a delegation led by the Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Major General of Police Vahe Ghazaryan was on a working visit to Georgia.
On December 8, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili received RA Police Chief Vahe Ghazaryan.
On the same day, Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Vakhtang Gomelauri received the delegation led by the RA Chief of Police, Major General of the Police Vahe Ghazaryan. They laid a wreath at the monument to the policemen killed in the line of duty.
During the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Vakhtang Gomelauri welcomed the members of the Armenian delegation and presented the recent reforms of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, emphasizing the effective development of police cooperation between the two countries.
The Chief of the RA Police, Major-General of Police Vahe Ghazaryan thanked for the invitation and the warm reception. Highly appreciating the well-established cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and  Police of the Republic of Armenia, Vahe Ghazaryan noted that it is effectively developing in all directions of operative service, daily work is carried out in the direction of intelligence, detection and extradition of wanted persons. The Armenian Police Chief expressed confidence that the visit will be a new stage for depeening good neighborly relations.
On December 9, Chief of the RA Police, Major-General of the Police Vahe Ghazaryan visited the Service Agency, got acquainted with the process of registration of vehicles, as well as the process of issuing license plates. The practical process of passing exams for driving license was introduced to the Chief of Police.
The delegation of the RA Police also visited the 112 operative control center of Georgia. The work of the center, the process of receiving, coordinating, registering and directing alarms were presented.
The RA Police delegation also visited the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, got acquainted with the training and retraining of patrols, educational programs and plans. Practical exercises of police officers to support the victims of domestic violence and neutralize the criminals were demonstrated.
During the visit, the Chief of the RA Police, Major-General of the Police Vahe Ghazaryan invited Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Vakhtang Gomelauri to Yerevan to discuss the further issues of cooperation in different directions of operative service activity.
