According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 138 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from November 8 to November 11, 10 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 36 cases of personal theft, 17 cases of fraud, 16 cases of bodily harm, 13 cases of battery, 9 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement, 6 cases of drug detection, 4 cases of theft of state or public property, hooliganism and illegal felling of trees, 3 cases of tax evasion, 2 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition and bribery, 1 case of kidnapping, burglary, intentional damage to property, illegal or false entrepreneurial activity, official forgery or official negligence, violence against a representative of authority, threats, detection of cold weapons, illegal crossing of the state border, incitement to suicide and forgery, sale or use of forged documents, stamps, seals, letter-heads, vehicle license plates.
2 wanted persons have been detected, 7 others turned themselves in to the Police, 1 Missing person has been allocated, 2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 6 cases of personal theft, 3 cases of infliction of bodily harm and 1 case of theft of state or public property have been solved.
Over the past 3 days, 33 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 3 persons died, 46 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
