Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (July 13-16)

According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 109 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from July 16 to July 17.
In particular, 38 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 19 cases of swindling, 18 cases of theft of personal property, 7 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 6 cases of hooliganism, 5 cases of abuse of official power, 4 cases of kidnapping, 3 cases of rape or attempted rape, 3 cases of detection of narcotics, 2 cases of official forgery or official negligence, 1 case of robbery, 1 case of extortion, 1 case of bribery and 1 case of use of violence against a representative of authority.
From earlier committed crimes 6 cases of theft of personal property, 3 cases of burglary and 1 case of car theft have been detected, 3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
Over the past 3 days, 38 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 2 persons died, 54 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
