Issues Related to Cooperation in the Fight Against Transnational Crime Discussed The Head of Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Met with the Deputy Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran
On June 30, the Head of Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Aram Ghazaryan, along with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, received the Deputy Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia, Bahram Taheri.
Deputy Ambassador Taheri congratulated Aram Ghazaryan on his appointment as Head of Police, emphasizing that the meeting reflects both countries’ commitment to deepening cooperation between their friendly nations.
In response, Aram Ghazaryan highlighted the stable and cooperative relationship between the law enforcement agencies of Armenia and Iran, noting that it is grounded in historical and friendly ties. He reaffirmed his readiness to further develop this cooperation.
Both sides emphasized the need to intensify ties between law enforcement bodies and to undertake additional efforts aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the fight against transnational crime.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
