Crime news report for the period from 11 to 14 June
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 111 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 11 June 14, 7 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 23 cases of personal theft, 21 cases of causing bodily harm, 13 cases of fraud, 6 cases of domestic violence, 5 cases of intentional damage to property, 3 cases of tax evasion, hooliganism and drug detection, 2 cases of murder, abduction, burglary, illegal tree felling, abuse of office, threats of murder and coercion to campaign or to refuse campaigning, 1 case of banditry, squandering or embezzlement, seizure of arms and ammunition, bribery, violation of voting rights, bribery of voters, receiving a bribe, violating the prohibition on charity during elections or obstructing the free expression of the voter's will, illegal drug trafficking, failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel which caused through negligence the patient’s death, lecherous actions against a minor.
3 missing persons located, 9 wanted persons have been detained, 12 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 4 cases of personal theft, 2 cases of fraud and 1 case of running-down accident have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 48 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 62 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
