A young man wanted on charges of attempted murder was located in Vanadzor
As a result of operational and intelligence measures carried out jointly by the officers of the Criminal Police Departments of Lori and Shirak Provinces, as well as the Community Police Divisions of Mush and Kumayri, on August 29, in one of the buildings on Garegin Nzhdeh Street in Gyumri, a 29-year-old resident of Vanadzor was located and transported to the Lori Province Department of the Criminal Police. He had been wanted since August 8 on charges of attempted murder and the illegal circulation of firearms, their essential components, ammunition, and other materials, devices, and items. Arrest was selected as a measure of restraint. He was transferred to a penitentiary institution.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
