The Head of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held operational meetings in the Lori and Tavush provinces, during which instructions were given

On June 24, the Head of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aram Ghazaryan, paid a working visit to the Lori and Tavush provinces.
At the Criminal Police Department of Lori Province, Aram Ghazaryan held an operational meeting attended by Deputy Heads of Police Vardan Vardanyan and Artur Khudinyan, as well as by representatives of the leadership from the territorial divisions of the Criminal and Community Police, the Patrol Service, and the General Department of State Protection operating in Lori Province.
Presenting the principled approaches defined by Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan regarding police service, Aram Ghazaryan emphasized the need to move forward in line with the outlined steps.
The Head of the Police instructed the participants to pay special attention to discipline and the continuous development of professional skills, as well as to intensify measures aimed at preventing and detecting corruption and economic crimes, combating illegal drug trafficking, identifying illegal weapons and ammunition, and countering criminal subculture.
Aram Ghazaryan emphasized the need to make maximum efforts to maintain public order and ensure road traffic safety, with a focus on preventing road accidents.
At the end of the visit, Aram Ghazaryan and the heads of other law enforcement agencies of Lori Province laid flowers at the memorial dedicated to police officers who died while defending the borders of the homeland and fulfilling their official duties.

At the Ijevan Division of the Community Police, during the operational meeting, the Head of Police, Aram Ghazaryan, also presented the Minister’s principled approaches regarding police service to the participants of the meeting in Tavush Province.
Addressing daily service activities, Aram Ghazaryan gave instructions regarding the proper and prompt execution of duties. He emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts in all areas of crime prevention, including the prevention and detection of illegal logging.
Referring to human resources policy, the Head of Police emphasized that the development of professional knowledge and skills is the foundation of a successful and professional police force.
At the end of the visit, Aram Ghazaryan, together with the Governor of Tavush, Hayk Ghalumyan, laid flowers at the memorial dedicated to police officers who died defending the homeland’s borders and fulfilling their official duties.
