Police officer detained while taking bribe

As a result of operative investigation measures taken jointly by officers of National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia and Internal Security Department of the RA Police, senior investigator at the 1-st subdivision of the Central Investigation division of Yerevan city Investigation Department, Police Captain Edgar Petrosyan was detained while taking bribe on November 28. The latter had been serving as a police officer since 2006.
A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of bribery.
The prepared materials were submitted to the Sepcial Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia.
