After 8 years on the run woman wanted by Russian law enforcement bodies detained in Yerevan
On Wednesday, July 29 at 12:25 p.m. Anahit V., DOB 1979, was detained at Kotayk Passport office following special measures taken by officers from Kotayk division and passport subdivision of the RA Police. The woman had been wanted by Department of Russian National Security Service for Moscow city charged under the Russian Criminal Code, article 322, part 1, point 1 /organization of illegal migration/ and article 30, part 3 /attempted crime/ since January 26, 2007.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
