Driver flees the scene after committing an RTA with fatal outcome

On Sunday, july 12 at 1:10 a.m. Hrazdan police division received a report about an unidentified man's body found on Yerevan-Sevan highway, at a distance of about 10 kilometers from Traffic police outreach station towards Yerevan.
Arriving at the scene, members of the police task force established that a 40-45 –year-old man had died on the spot after being hit by an unidentified car on the 43rd km of Yerevan-Sevan highway. The driver managed to flee the scene, and the man's body was found under the roadside iron barrier.
Measures are underway to identify the victim and to detect the car.
The preliminary investigation started at Kotayk marz Investigation Department is udnerway.
