Police detain fugitive swindler simultaneously wanted by Moscow law enforcers for kidnapping and banditry
Thanks to sepcial measures taken by officers from Yerevan City Department of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Romanos A., DOB 1978, was detained at the intersection of Fuchik and Margaryan streets in Yerevan. The man had been wanted by Erebuni division of the RA Police charged under the RA Criminal Code, article 178, part 2, point 2 and article 38-178, part 2, point 2 since June 13, 2015.
Simultaneously, the detainee had been wanted by Department of Russia's MIA for the city of Moscow charged under the Russian Criminal Code, article 126, part 2, points A, V, Z, Ch (kidnapping) and article 162, part 3 /banditry/ since January 19, 2012.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
