Man wanted by Georgian law enforcers on attempted murder and kidnapping charges detained by Armenian police officers after 4-year hunt
On Friday June 13 at 12 p.m. Robert A., DOB 1974, was detained at 12 Abovyan street, Yerevan, following special measures taken by officers of Yerevan City Department alongside their colleagues from Shengavit police division. The detainee had been wanted by Georgian law enforcers charged with attempted murder and kidnapping since February 5, 2010.
Custody has been selected as a measure of restraint.
The initiator of the intelligence have been notified of Robert A.'s detention.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
