Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (20.05.2016-23.05.2016)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 30 out of 34 cases of infliction of bodily injuries registered in the territory of the Republic from May 20 to May 23, as well as 23 cases of theft, 7 cases of swindling, 2 cases of squandering, 3 cases of hooliganism, 1 case of extortion, 1 case of tax evasion and 1 case of counterfeiting have been solved.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 1 case of murder, 1 case of theft and 1 case of intentional destruction of property have been detected.
Over the past 3 days 34 road traffic accidents were registered in the republic: 1 person died, 50 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
