Driver flees the scene following a fatal hit-and-run accident

On Thursday December 25 at 11:15 Taron police division received a report from Emergency station informing that Henrik Tovmasyan, DOB 1942, died on the spot after being hit by an unidentified driver near the dwelling house at 43 Narekatsi street, Vanadzor.
Arriving at the scene police operatives found a “VAZ-21074” automobile, but the driver had fled the scene.
Investigation is underway.
