Pedestrian killed after being hit by a car driving reverse

At 19:35 on October 27 Tallin police division received a report from «Tallin» medical centre informing that Yervand Eghiazaryan, DOB 1938, was taken to the medical centre with bodily injuries. In hospital the injured man reported that he had suffered injuries in yard.
At 20:45 Yeghiazaryan deceased in hospital.
At 21:00 on the same day Avetis A. came to the police and pleaded guilty. The man made a statement that he had striken Yervand Eghizaryan with his «ZIL-130» model automobile on Khanjyan street, Artyeni village, at 18:00 while driving in reverse.  
Investigation is underway.
