Secret service men solved the holdup case

On October 17 at 21:20 from the duty section of Yerevan city police department a report was received at the Central police department that a resident of Abovyan street, Yerevan, called them and reported, that two people broke into his house, hit him over the head with a gun, tied his legs and hands and extorted 800.000 – 1.000.000 AMD.
The arrived operative group found out that on the same day in 19:00 – 20:00 time frame in the aggrieved party's house an acquaintance of his and the latter’s friend, threatening the former with a gun, tied his legs and hands with an adhesive tape and extorted 1.000.000 AMD from his bedroom wardrobe.
On October 18, the police officers of Yerevan city police department and those of Central and Nor-Nork departments of criminal investigation on the suspicion of holdup detained Robert A., born in 1993, and Narek G., born in 1991, who admitted committing the crime.
A criminal case was initiated on the signs of the crime, specified in the 175-th article of the Criminal code of the RA.
The preliminary investigation is continuing.
