Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (April 17-18)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 16 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from April 17 to April 18.
In particular, 6 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 2 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 2 cases of hooliganism, 1 cases of theft of personal property, 1 case of robbery, 1 case of residential burglary, 1 case of intentional destruction of property and 1 case of tax evasion.
4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition were registered.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries has been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 7 road traffic accidents have been registered in the Republic: 9 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
