According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 50 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from September 27 to September 28, 4 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 9 cases of fraud, 8 cases of causing bodily harm, 7 cases of personal theft, 5 cases of domestic violence, 4 cases of drug detection and abuse of office, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 1 case of kidnapping, burglary, counterfeiting, seizure of weapons and ammunition, violence against a representative of authorities, abuse of office and obstruction of the professional activities of a journalist.
1 missing person has been located, 9 wanted persons have been detained, 9 others turned themselves in to the Police.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of personal theft and running-down accident have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 17 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 22 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
