According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 33 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from May 5 to May 6, 3 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 8 cases of bodily harm, 4 cases of fraud and domestic violence, 3 cases of theft of personal property and squandering or embezzlement, 2 cases of tax evasion, 1 case of murder, hooliganism, detecting drugs, drug smuggling, intentional damage to property and threat to murder.
3 wanted people have been detained, 3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 1 case of theft of state or public property, theft of personal property and infliction of bodily damage have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 8 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 12 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
