Meeting at the RA Police
On Wednesday, February 3, Deputy Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia Ara Fidanyan received the delegation of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Armenia headed by the Chargé d'Affaires Helen Fazey.
Welcoming the guests, Ara Fidanyan expressed hope that the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides would deepen, including new spheres of police activity.
The Deputy Head of Police especially emphasized the Embassy's support in organizing English language courses for police officers.
Ara Fidanyan also presented the extensive reforms underway in the system, which are aimed at modernizing the Armenian police and improving the quality of services.
Ambassador Helen Fazey, in her turn, thanked for the warm reception praised the police measures against preventing the spread of the pandemic, as well as expressed readiness to further develop and strengthen cooperation.
A number of other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
