A delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic visits the Armenian Police  (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, May 25 Deputy Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Police Major General Vardan Yeghiazaryan received the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic which has arrived in Yerevan within the framework of the tactical exercises “Cobalt-2016″ launched in Armenia on May 24, 2016. 
The delegation is led by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Major-General of militia Kursan Asanov.
Greeting the guests, Vardan Yeghiazaryan presented the reforms initiated at the Armenian Police, spoke about the recent achievements and future plans. Mr. Yeghiazaryan provided a detailed overview of the community policing model introduced in Armenia, spoke about work done in the field of road safety, Police personnel policy and etc.
The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended to them and said that he is quite impressed with the Armenian police reforms. Mr. Asanov attached importance to the cooperation and exchange of experience between the two law enforcement structures, especially that analogous reforms have been initiated at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic quite recently.
The meeting agenda also included other issues of mutual interest.
