INL Supported training course for female police officers in Yerevan

"Women in Policing" training course is to be held in Yerevan from 8 to 12 November within the framework of U.S. Embassy Yerevan’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement programs. The training course will be attended by female police officers.
The opening ceremony of the course was attended by US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Lynn Tracy, Head of Police Headquarters Armen Mkrtchyan and Deputy Minister of Justice Kristine Grigoryan.
In his opening remarks, Armen Mkrtchyan greeted the participants of the training, noting that women are involved in various police services, and that there are female employees in the Police who hold senior positions both in the central apparatus and territorial bodies.
During this five day intensive course the participants will gain professional skills through seminars, exercises, group work and discussions.
