Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (July 17-18)

According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 51 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from July 17 to July 18.
In particular, 14 cases of infliction of bodily injuries, 11 cases of swindling, 7 cases of theft of personal property, 5 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 4 cases of abuse of official power, 2 cases of extortion, 2 cases of intentional destruction of propety, 1 case of theft of state or public property, 1 case of tax evasion, 1 case of seizure of arms and ammunition, 1 case of detection of narcotics, 2 cases of official forgery or official negligence, 1 case of robbery.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of robbery have been detected, 2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 17 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 2 persons died, 26 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
